About Magen

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had a camera in my face.  My father was a photographer, mostly as a hobby but sometimes photographing weddings for friends and family, so after graduation, it seemed second nature to do the same for my friends.  Since then, I’ve photographed weddings, parties, graduations and events.

In the summer of 2009, my friend Tamre and I decided to go a different route.  With over a decade of combined experience in event planning, we thought it was time to get real about the business and give Indianapolis’ parties a different look.  So, taking a huge leap, we started building a business plan, and in December of 2009, Fresh Events Indy became a reality with the help of our friend in Boston, Allison Hanlon.

So far, it’s been a whirlwind planning a couple weddings and the thoughts of planning a few corporate events, but for the time being, I’m satisfied being a mother, snapping photos and making a few parties fun!
